Convocation Ceremony is a solemn occasion requiring complete decorum.

No cross talks, photography, unnecessary movements inside the convocation marquee are allowed during the ceremony.

As a mark of respect, all attendees must stand at the following occasions:

At the time when the academic procession enters the hall till they take their seats
3.2
During the National song, Vande Mataram
3.3
At the time of the Invocation song with Lamp Lighting
3.4
At the time of National Anthem
3.5
At the time when the academic procession departs and leaves the hall.

At the time of administering the “Oath”
3.6
All graduands are required to stand up at the time administering of the “Oath”

During the function mobile phones should be kept switched off.

The clapping of hands is the only form of acknowledgement recommended. Whistling and loud cheering are prohibited during the Convocation ceremony.

During the function the audience will keep sitting in their seats and will not move out of their seats. Audience will move towards designated exits for refreshment/lunch only after the academic procession departs fully and due announcements are made.
